Rs 3,000 crore scam in minorities panel: Pramod Muthalik

Mysuru, Jul 3: Sri Rama Sene leader Pramod Muthalik on Thursday alleged that irregularities to the tune of Rs 3,000 crore were reported in the State Minorities Commission.

He said the managing director of the commission was not forthcoming on related information.

He said though many communities came under minorities, only a particular community was deriving most of the benefits. “I will meet the chief minister in Belagavi on July 6 and urge him to ensure equity by doing away with the practice of nominating persons belonging to a particular community as head of the commission.”
