Bengaluru, Oct 23: In a major break-thru CCB Police in the city have arrested Salim Bhiman Mammotty, who had been absconding since last 10 years after serial bomb blast in Bengaluru city in which one woman was killed and several others injured.

Police said on Tuesday that, on getting definite information, a CCB Special team went to Kerala and arrested the 20th accused in the serial bomb blast that took place in 9 places on July 25-2008.
He was arrested from his residence at Peramlion Village, Kannur district of Kerala and was brought to Bengaluru.
In this connection CCB had arrested and filed FIRs filed against 20 other accused including PDP Party leader Abdul Nasir Madani.
The case is pending before CCH 49 Court in the city and all the arrested are kept in Central Jail at Parappana Agrahara.
