
Bangalore, Aug 8: The Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) while vehemently condemning Israel for the outrageous pounding of Palestinians has called upon the Indian Government to forthwith snap diplomatic relations with the Zionist state and put on hold all trade ties till normalcy is restored in the region.
SDPI State president, Mr. Abdul Majeed in a statement expressed his anguish and agony over the fact that Israel is waging unjust and despicable aggressive attacks against the innocent people of Palestine wherein even women and children are not being spared.
The silence of the international community is shocking and exposes the duality and hypocrisy in today's world order in its inequitable approach towards human rights in the world.
Mr. Abdul Majeed said, similarly, it is shocking to see BJP ruled Union Government's double-talk over the West Asia crisis. Majeed recalled that since day one India has supported Palestinian cause and their right to statehood.
Israel's aggression on a territory which is under its occupation since June 1967 is a simple war Mr.Saqib, National Member said that SDPI, deplores Government Of India for not discussing the humanitarian crises of innocent Civilians of Gaza and the illegal economic blockade by Isreal in the parliament of India.
It also deplores its lack of sensitivity by not passing any resolution against the war crimes . However India's stand In the United Nation vote in favor of probing Israel war crime is Mr. Putnanjanaya, SDTU President, demanded that United Nations and other countries should put sufficient political and diplomatic pressure on Israel and to use economic embargo to halt the attack. It is very regrettable that the Arab and Gulf states are not fulfilling their moral responsibility in reaching out to Gaza, he added.
The protest was lead by the State & District leaders and a huge count of Party cadres and public participated in the protest demonstration raising slogans demanding the Central Government to pressure Israel stop pounding innocent Citizens in Gaza, using placards, banners and skit demonstrations.
