Mangaluru, Jun 23: Sameeha Shad, a student of Hira Girls’ Highschool, Babbukatte in Mangaluru taluk, who had scored 617 out of 625 marks in recent SSLC examinations, has managed to get three additional marks in revaluation.
With a whopping 620 marks, now Ms Shad has shared fourth position in Karnataka state with a few other toppers.
Ms Shad had scored 124 out of 125 in English, cent per cent in Hindi and Kannada languages, 98 in Mathematics, 99 in Science and 96 in Social Science.
However, she had applied for revaluation expecting more marks in Social Science. As per her expectation, she has secured 99 marks in Social Science too.
Ms Shad is the daughter of Mohammed Sameer and Sabeeha Fathima couple from Pakkaladka in Mangaluru taluk.
Beluru girl Shreshtha bags 622 marks
After the revaluation of her SSLC examination papers, S.H. Shreshtha, student of Belur in Hassan district, stands second in the State by securing 622 marks.
Earlier, she was one among the toppers in Hassan district with total marks of 619. She had applied for revaluation of English and Social Science papers. She secured two more marks in English and one in Social Science, thereby securing 622. She studied in Poorna Prajna High School in Belur.
