Sullia, Dec 16: In an old case registered at Sullia police station in 2007, Sullia police have arrested a person on charges of falsely claiming to be a doctor and running a clinic in Gandhinagar under station limits few years ago.

The police have arrested Mansoor Ali Khan in Gulbarga on charges of impersonating as a doctor in Gandhinagar.
After a long gap, Sullia police pursued the case and tracked down the accused in Gulbarga in an extensive search operation. Initially, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) had lodged a complaint in 2007 based on which the police had reportedly conducted a raid and stopped his illegal practice.
A couple of years later, Mansoor allegedly went missing without a trace. Recently, Sullia police pursued the case again and managed to successfully nab the accused.
The accused was produced before the magistrate and remanded to judicial custody.
It is also learnt that the accused had gone missing with his daughter Niqahath in 2010 and a missing complaint was lodged by his wife shortly. It is said that Mansoor had charmed his way and gotten married to three women in different places.
The police are conducting further investigation in connection with his activities in the past.
