Mangalore, Aug 14: Three persons, including a 10-year-old girl child, were found dead at their home at Hoigebail in Mangalore on August 14.
The bodies of the deceased, identified as Shailesh (39), his wife Savita and their daughter Vidyalakshmi (10) were found by neighbours at their apartment. While Shailesh found hanging from the ceiling, Savita might have consumed poison after administering the same to her daughter.
Vidyalakshi was a students of class V in Canara School in the city.
In a death note found in the room stated that financial woes led them to take extreme step.
Neibours grew suspicion when they did not see any of the family since August 12.
It is said that Shailesh was running Akshata' finance firm in Mangalore, but suffered huge losses when his partners quit the firm.
The dead bodies were sent for post-mortem in Wenlock hospital. Urwa police led by circle inspector Ramachandra Maledevar arrived at the spot.
A case of unnatural has been registered. Investigations are on.
