Mangalore, Jun 1: Dakshina Kannada Khazi Thwaka Ahmed Musliyar inaugurated two newly constructed houses in remote villages of the coastal district by Talent Research Foundation, Mangalore.
The houses were built for two poor homeless families - Mrs Pathunhi of Rajagudde in Mangalore taluk and Mrs Athijamma of Aladi in Bantwal taluk,
Speaking on the occasion Khazi said that the act of giving happiness to a fellow brother is one of the greatest deeds that one could do.
“It is very appreciable that TRF has been constructing new houses for the homeless, repairing old houses that suffered damage and giving light to families in the dark by connecting them with electricity,” he said.
He also recalled that TRF had facilitated him to visit the homes of the destitute, abandoned and orphans and face the grim reality of our community.
On this occasion Haneef Haji, General Secretary, Muslim Central Committee, ZubairAmbar, Realtor, Abdul Khader Darmi Kukkila, TRF advisor Sulaiman Shaikh Beluvai, Harekala Hajabba, Alaadi Masjid president Abdulrahiman Haji, Khateeb K.B abdul Khader Darmi, TRF 's Riyaz Kannur, D Abdul Hameed Kannur, Umar Puthige, Sayyed Hassan, Fairozullal, Jaseem Sajipa, Hashir Sulaiman Shaikh, Fahad Beluvai were present.
Basheer Rajagudde and Abdul Majeedalaadi were felicitated for assisting in the construction of houses.
TRF advisor Rafeek Master compered the programme. TRF has been constructing eight new houses and has successfully repaired eight other houses in Dakshina Kannada.
