Mangaluru, Jul 2: In two separate cases, two persons died of suspected dengue fever in the Dakshina Kannada district.
A youth named Harish (27), son of Annu Mogera residing in Kanapade quarters in Navoor village in Bantwal taluk died on Monday night, due to suspected dengue fever.

However, failing to respond to the medical treatment, Harish passed away on Monday night. He was suspected of suffering from dengue.
Annu Mogera had four children out of which, Harish was the only son.
Zilla panchayat member Girija, taluk panchayat vice president Vilasini, Navoor gram panchayat PDO Aboobaker, president, members and local primary health centre medical officers visited Harish's house and offered their condolences to his family.
In another case of suspected dengue fever, an unmarried man died at Puttur government hospital on Monday night.
Shankar (43), son of Odiyappa from Kutelu near Uppinangady is the deceased person.
Shankar had been involved in masonry and is said to have experienced slight dizziness along with fever on Sunday. He was admitted to Puttur government hospital on Monday afternoon, however, he breathed his last on the same day.
It is suspected that he was suffering from dengue fever. He is survived by five sisters and two brothers.
