Two from Surathkal grievously hurt as tanker rams tree

Uppinangady, Aug 31: Two persons were grievously injured after the tanker they were travelling by rammed into a tree at Nelyadi near Uppinangady on Sunday.

The injured have been identified as Abdullah from Surathkal and his son Muhammad Shareef.

Locals who rushed to the spot helped them to be admitted in a private hospital for further treatment.

The driver lost control over the tanker and hit a tree. They were coming from Bangalore to Mangalore when the accident occurred.
