Unity in community leads to social development, says PFI leader

Doha, Jun 15: Qatar India Fraternity Forum organized a symposium under the theme ‘Social development through Unity’ on June 13 at Fraternity House at Masnoora, Qatar.

Elyas Muhammad Thumbe, national secretary of Popular Front of India was the main speaker of the subject.

He said that Indian Muslim community going through a period of crisis and lagging behind in development. Though there are several main factors for this crisis, the community itself has to work hard continuously to overcome its problems. Any issues and crisis can be solved only if the community establishes strong unity inside. Muslims and their organizations should cooperate and support each other in their united efforts for the noble cause of the community as well as the society. If all the communities improved, the society will witness complete development, he said.

Indian expatriate entrepreneur of Qatar Janab Syed Abdul Hye said that a peaceful society can be built by mutual harmony and cooperation. Another guest Iqbal Manna spoke on health awareness in the community.

QIFF Karnataka chapter president Ayyub Ullal gave the key note address and welcome the guests. Abdul Latheef Madikeri presented the reports of QIFFs social activities. Niyaz Thodar compered the programme and Shafeek Puttur proposed vote of thanks.
