Mangaluru, Nov 21: An ultra modern comfort station (public toilet) built and donated by city based International voluntary service organization, Mangalore Round Table 115 & Mangalore Ladies Circle 82 was handed over to the Pilikula Nisarga Dhama administration authority on Saturday. The project was as a part of their community development oriented service project and in commemoration of the world toilet day.

Deputy Commissioner A B Ibrahim formally inaugurated the project and revealed that this will fall in line with the Swach Bharath Mission. He lauded the selfless service rendered by the MRT 115 Club & MLC 82 and for their concern for the community in general and visitors of Pilikula in particular which is a very noble cause and congratulated them for their guesture.
President of the Mangalore Lady Circle Mrs. Nanditha Fernades informed that this project cost total Rs. 5 Lakhs and is built falling in line with their club mission “Touching Hearts & Spreading Smiles”
Secretary of MRT 115 Mr. Haron Fernades past president Mr. Naveen Cardoza, Mr. Deepak Ramani, Mr. Sandeep D Silva, and EC Members Pramod Pinto, Royster D’souza, Mr. Vadiraj Shenoy were present on this occasion. The landscaped building consists of Separate facilities for Gents & Ladies, Special facility for physically challenged people, Drinking water purifying unit and wash basin.
The club also created a record by executing 24 Different projects in different schools and orphanages 24 Hours with a total value of Rs. 11.40 Lakhs on the same day.
