Bengaluru, Sep 13: Chief minister B S Yediyurapp has promised a delegation from Davanagere district to carve out Mayakonda taluk in Karnataka, after receiving a report on it.
Speaking to a delegation from the district, comprising MLAs Linganna, M P Renukacharya and Madalu Virupakshappa, Chief minister had assured the delegation to look into their demand on formation of the new taluk.
The members of the delegate, had brought to the notice of the chief minister that all the Committees, formed to recommend the state government on formation new taluks had recommended to carve out Mayakonda tlauk in Davanagere taluk.
