Mangaluru, Jul 2: A youth fell off a lofty cliff and suffered critical injuries while clicking a selfie at Charmadi Ghat bordering Dakshina Kannada and Chikkamagaluru districts.
The video of the fatal accident has gone viral on social media. The man reportedly climbed the seasonal waterfall at Charmadi Ghat and fell off while clicking a selfie.
The man was taken to the hospital by passersby and his health condition is said to be critical. Selfie craze among youth has resulted in several such incidents in the recent past.
