Chamarajanagara/Mysuru, Nov 23: Two tiger and one Elephant found dead in Bandipur Tiger Reserve and Nagarahole National Park in Chamarajnaagara and Mysuru district on Friday.
In the first incident a Tiger, which has been causing concern to the villagers in the border of Bandipur, was found dead at Kalaiahkatte forest range in the Tiger Reserve and aged a about 10 to 12 years.
Following complaints from the villagers and a series of tiger sightings, a team of Forest Department officials launched a tiger tracing operation near Penajalli and surrounding forest areas.
The tigers had killed many domestic animals in the surroundings and had become a head ache for villagers.
During the combing operation along with tamed elephants Drona and Ashoka Dasra elephants one the tiger was found dead this afternoon.
