Mangaluru, Feb 22: Chickballapur MP and former Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas M. Veerappa Moily has said that AAP government of Delhi cannot pursue complaints against him.

He was responding to a query by media persons here on Sunday regarding Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s statement that his government would pursue allegations of corruption against Moily besides former-chief minister Sheila Dikshit, industrialist Mukesh Ambani.
State governments not allowed to take such actions under the Constitution, Mr Moily said. “If every State government is allowed to do so, then there will be a number of cases against the Central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said adding that such allegations would be looked into by the Union government.
Last year, during his 49 day rule, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal had ordered filing of an FIR against Moily, his predecessor Murli Deora, who is dead now, and RIL chief Mukesh Ambani for alleged collusion in hike of prices in natural gas from the KG basin.
The then AAP government had also ordered a probe into street light purchase scam during the Commonwealth Games of 2010 in which Dikshit's role had come under the scanner.
