Mangaluru, Nov 10: A young lawyer from coastal district of Dakshina Kannada was part of the panel of advocates that represented Sunni Wakf Board in the Babri Masjid land dispute heard in Supreme Court.
28-year-old Abdul Rahiman hails from Mura of Hirebandady in Puttur taluk of Dakshina Kannada.
Son of late Isubu Beary and Ameenamma, Rahiman is an alumnus of Hirebandadi Government School.
He had started his career in Puttur court after obtaining law degree from Vikenanda Law College in 2015. For past two years he has been practising in the Supreme Court.
Apart from Abdul Rahiman, senior advocate Dr Rajeev Dhavan, Meenakshi Arora and Zafaryab Jilani were part of the team of lawyers for Sunni Wakf Board.
