Anti-Terror Cell starts functioning in Karnataka

Bengaluru, Nov 6: Acting on information by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) about the possibility of a terrorist group being active in Karnataka, the state government has created a specific Anti-Terrorism Cell under the Central Crime Branch (CCB) in the city.

ATC is one of the three new wings added to the special branch of city police, two other squads being Anti-Narcotics Wing and the Women Protection Wing.
