Mangaluru, Sep 9: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that an integrated healthcare system should be made available under one roof as each such system had some effective methods of treatment.

He said this speaking at the 22nd graduation day programme of the SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic sciences here on Wednesday.
A patient should be treated after checking the reasons for his disease, background and also the problem, said Kejriwal, suggesting that such an integrated healthcare system be started by Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr Veerendra Heggade.
Responding to the Kejriwal’s suggestion, Dr Heggade said that a centre to provide information and guidance on all systems of medicine would be started in Delhi soon. Dr Heggade sought the cooperation of Kejriwal for the same.
Kejriwal said that he was interested in Yoga and Naturopathy since childhood. “After being treated at the Jindal Naturopathy Institute in Bengaluru recently, I have been completely cured of my ailment,” he explained.
“Graduates may face a lot of challenges while in profession. All such hurdles and challenges should be faced with confidence. As ambassadors of Naturopathy, the graduates should create awareness on the alternative system of medicine in the society,” he said.
He said that one should set aside a portion of their income for a noble cause as social service helps us overcome ego and provide peace of mind.
State Minister for Health and Family Welfare U T Khader said, “All the district government hospitals in the State will have an Ayush wing. At present, there are 10 such wings opened in the State.”
The Delhi chief minister also inaugurated ‘Prakruthi’ ladies hostel. He presented degree certificates to 54 graduates and 10 post-graduates on the occasion.
‘Jan Lokpal Bill in Oct’
Delhi Chief Minister Aravind Kejriwal said that the Jan Lokpal bill will be passed in October. Addressing mediapersons and Aam Aadmi Party workers at Dharmasthala on Wednesday, Kejriwal said that suitable compensation should be given to land owners while acquiring land for various projects. “The AAP’s next target is to form a government in Punjab,” he said.
