Indore, Aug 25: Finding difficult to fulfill the poll promise of 'achhe din', union minister for steel and mines Narendra Singh Tomar on Monday said BJP had never promised 'achhe din', the slogan was coined by the people on social media during parliamentary election for the BJP.

Tomar said people have already brought 'achhe din' by defeating Congress party in election. "Digvijay Singh and Rahul Gandhi are having bure din (bad days)," said Tomar.
Defending Prime Minister over increasing prices of onion and pulses, Tomar said union government is doing its best to control inflation and all measures are being taken to check rising prices of essential goods but at times the situations are not favourable.
On chances of party in Bihar election, Tomar said, "Since the time PM has announced Rs 1.25 lakh crore package for Bihar, the Lalu-Nitish have got cold feet."
