Bengaluru, Dec 31: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Karnataka will not shy away from forming the next government, if the present JD(S)-Congress Coalition government falls on its own, Opposition leader in the Legislative Assembly B S Yeddyurappa, who is also BJP State President said here on Monday.
Addressing a press conference here, the former Chief Minister said that “the Coalition partners are indulged in in-fighting and squabble among them would lead to collapse of the Government”.
Strongly denying that BJP leaders are trying to pull down the 7-month-old government, he said that “it is not correct to say that we are trying to lure the ruling party MLAs to drum up the support and form the government. Siddaramaiah is hurling false charges on us, by stating that BJP is offering Rs 25 to Rs 30 crore to each MLA to switch over to the BJP”.
