Mysuru, Dec 19: Former Union Minister and Senior Congress leader Pallam Raju alleged that the NDA Government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has filed false affidavit in the Supreme Court on purchase of Rafale fighter jets.
Speaking to newsmen here on Wednesday he said that “another investigation should be held into Rafale deal. Congress will not rest until then.
On what basis the contract of manufacturing fighter flights was given to private company Reliance which has no experience? Is it the national security that Prime Minister always speaks of,” Raju questioned.
“Why have they kept Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) away from the manufacturing of fighter jets? During the UPA government each Rafale aircraft was available at Rs 526 crore and now the price has gone up to Rs 1,620 crore.
