According to the Moodbidri unit of CFI, Reshma, a computer teacher at St Anthony English Medium School, near here on February 16, asked non-Christian students of Class 7 to worship Jesus Christ and not to worship any other god'.

In a memorandum submitted to block education officer the CFI claimed that Reshma used to promote Christianity and insult other faiths when she was teaching in St Thomas Higher Primary School before joining the St Anthony school.

The CFI also accused the school of supporting her and trying to create divide among students on religious lines. “In the past the school management had refused permission for students to attend Friday prayers. Besides there was symbol of Christianity on the uniform belt given to the students previously,” it claimed.

After all religion is to discipline mankind. But we are doing more evil in the name of religion and god than in name of devil. Moral of all the religion is Do Good you will end up in Heaven and Bad you will end up in Hell. For your info 1000 years back there was no Constitution in any part of the world, it was religion that was disciplining the Mankind. Now we have Constitution but we are not disciplined because of religion.

Most of the religious people think their faith is correct and others should also follow their faith.
But one thing is true, they don't expect any personnel benefit for their propagation.
When doing it in a secret manner, it hurts others.

First of all if they are sure 100%, that their religion is the only true religion, then they should call for public debate with their proof to convince people of other faith. Then definitely if people are convinced, at least some intellectuals will respond and accept their claim.
This is what happening by Dr. Zakeer Naik,
If you want to know the truth, just watch his PEACE TV channel which is free channel. He is openly and successfully convincing to the intellectual highly knowledgeable people. Whoever accepts Islam, Dr. Naik questions the accepting men whether the person is fully convinced the ISLAM also he further questions them whether come across any kind of pressure or bribery. He also says them ISLAM cannot bribe or forcefully convert anybody. That is to convince anyone 2+2=4, we don't want to bribe them.

This is the proof, despite of all hurdles and resistance the Islam is the fastest growing religion in the whole world, specially in WEST.

May God bless us to know right path and benefit from it and to share the same with everyone.

Mangaluru, Dec 15: Educational institutions in Mangaluru that rely on the popular Mangala Stadium for their annual sports events are bracing for an inconvenience as the city's key sporting venue is set to close its gates for a significant upgrade. The stadium is expected to be unavailable for approximately two months starting from January 15, 2026.

The closure is necessitated by a proposed overhaul of the stadium's facilities, with a special focus on upgrading the synthetic track. Pradeep Dsouza, Assistant Director of the District of Youth Empowerment and Sports (DYES), Dakshina Kannada, confirmed the development.

"Experts have visited the stadium, conducted a thorough inspection, and have given the go-ahead for a complete makeover," Dsouza stated. "Funds have been allocated for the project, and we are currently awaiting the final green signal from state officials to commence the work. We anticipate that the work will likely begin in the second week of January. Consequently, we have stopped renting out the stadium to colleges and other organizations in preparation for the upgrade."

The timing presents a logistical challenge for colleges, as many schools have already concluded their sports meets.

"Colleges will now be organizing their events and will need to find alternative locations to host their sports meets," Dsouza added. He suggested a few potential venues, including the Dakshina Kannada police ground, University College grounds, Panambur grounds, Swaraj Maidan in Moodbidri, and the Mangalore University sports grounds in Konaje.

However, many institutions note that finding a comparable venue will be difficult. While the DK police ground and University College grounds are closer to the city center, they do not possess the extensive facilities and infrastructure offered by Mangala Stadium.

Dr. P Dayananda Pai - P Satisha Govt First Grade College, Carstreet, is one such institution dependent on the stadium. Principal Jayakar Bhandary expressed hope for a swift completion of the work. "We expect the work to be completed at the earliest. If not, we will be forced to look for other venues to host the sports day for our students," Bhandary said, highlighting the pressing need for the city's main sporting facility.
