Cloud seeding shouldn’t be continued in flood-hit Karnataka: Minister

Bengaluru, Nov 8: Rural development minister K S Eshwarappa on Thursday said the state under severe floods and cloud seeding project was not necessary and it should not be continued.

Speaking to the media at Vidhna Soudha here he said there was no need for cloud seeding as heavy rains along with flood situation two times in as many as 22 districts , hence as my personal opinion no need for this project now, he further said.

He also objected on tenders given for two years and funds should not be vested at any cost.
