You immatures brute .think like a Indian first then u think like a Indian Muslim .shame on you .don't justify your silly thoughts. This is the root cause. If your zakir is so innocent ..why is he hiding in Saudi ? Why can't he come . religion should attract new followers by doing good deeds and acts not like mocking others faith.why Buddhism attracts millions of people irrespective of no marketing strategy ? .religion should continuously evolve and when it becomes stagnant .parasites and mosquitoes like zakir and their followers crop up .in one way by terrorist activities by Muslim terrorists we are getting alienated and other way its people like you do mocking and demeaning other faith .non believers are getting irritated and its clearly visible nowadays in non Muslim faces.

It is very unfortunate equating Dr. Zakir Naik on negative image.

He is so highly respected among educated Non-Muslims and Muslims.
He has been awarded prestigious awards. Unfortunately now all of a sudden some people started commenting negatively because of media.

His mission is peace and propagating Islam to every corner of the globe. Unfortunately most of us are failing to do this noble job.
Please understand well before you comment. Don't falsely comment. Watch, listen carefully what he talks. If you cant do it,
At least keep quiet and don't trouble who are doing your job.

Zakir Naik, talks very defensively the truth. He is highly educated and has the extensive knowledge both in science and most of the religions.
He is doing wonderful job and thus he covers our responsibility by doing fair dawa /propagation work, Let us support such people.

He is indeed a devoted PATRIOTIC

It was well expected ..Islam in coastal has evolved from past 30 years. Before when we were students there was no such hatredness and communal disturbance .we ourself used to attend rathotsava and kolas and including dakke Bali too in dk/udupi ..but due to penetration of Saudi money and propagation of salafist ( wahabist ) mentality, Situation is reversed now .we are strictly confining ourselves and alienating from others .. This has created suspicion among Hindus and Christians. People like zakir naik...misused our people and this has resulted in growing no of people getting attracted towards jihadist terrorism .I don't blame sangh fringe groups or our PM...our community needs to seriously introspect on this matter .strictly we must encourage our kids to go thru secular format of education. If not we will further move away from mainstream .even though I am a traditional voter of congress .I feel our pm is right on many aspect .intellectuals must step in and deradicalise madrasa system and its high time we must concentrate on bringing down high crime rate in the community and people who are into that must be expelled .jai hind .

Mangaluru, Dec 15: Air India Express has announced that it will resume direct flight services between Mangaluru and Muscat from March 2026, restoring an important international air link for passengers from the coastal region.

Airport authorities said the service will operate twice a week—on Sundays and Tuesdays—from March 1. The initial flights are scheduled on March 3, 8 and 10, followed by March 15 and 17, with the same operating pattern to continue thereafter. The flight duration is approximately three hours and 25 minutes.

The Mangaluru–Muscat route was earlier operated under the 2025 summer schedule, with services beginning on July 14. At that time, Air India Express had operated four flights a week before suspending the service.

Officials said the summer schedule will come into effect from March 29, after which changes in flight timings and departure schedules from Mangaluru are expected. Passengers have been advised to check the latest schedules while planning their travel.

The resumption of direct flights to Muscat is expected to significantly benefit expatriates, business travellers and others, further strengthening Mangaluru’s air connectivity with the Gulf region.

Mangaluru: Public transport in Mangaluru is set for a state-led transformation as the government moves to deploy 100 new electric govt buses to replace unreliable private services. The initiative aims to provide a dependable alternative to private operators who have been frequently "cutting trips," leaving thousands of commuters stranded.

The announcement was made by Deputy Commissioner and MCC Administrator Darshan HV during a public phone-in session. The move specifically targets routes where private bus service has become erratic, ensuring that citizens no longer have to rely on a fluctuating private sector for their daily commute.

Restoring the Govt Presence

The transport crisis was brought to the forefront by Ramayya, a resident of Bajal, who highlighted a growing trend of private buses skipping morning and night trips. With the previous KSRTC (govt) services discontinued, residents have been left without a fallback option.

To fix this, the DC confirmed that the PM-eBus Sewa Scheme will bring 100 government-owned electric buses to the city:

•    Phased Deployment: The first 50 of the new 100 government buses are scheduled to arrive by March 2026.

•    State Infrastructure: Two new government depots, including one at Mudipu, are being prepared for operations.

•    Recruitment: The state has already begun training a new batch of government bus drivers to ensure the fleet is operational the moment it arrives.
