Young father who left home to buy new clothes for baby daughter killed in mishap

Kasaragod, Jul 2: A 29-year-old man lost his life when the car he was driving collided with a tanker lorry at Kallangai in the district yesterday.

The deceased has been identified as P A Abdul Sajeer, son of Abdur Rahman, a resident of Mogral-Puthur village, near here.

The accident occurred as the youth was proceeding to Kasaragod town to make some purchases for a ceremony for his baby daughter and collided with the tanker lorry moving towards Mangaluru.

The youth, who was extricated from the badly damaged car, was rushed to a nearby hospital. However, he could not be saved.
