Bengaluru, Aug 27: A student, who was seeking a medical seat in Bengaluru, was allegedly duped of Rs. 9.4 lakh.

In his complaint to the police, Balaji S (18), who hails from Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu, said that after he sought details for courses in Bengaluru on a social media platform, he was contacted by a man who identified himself as Rajkumar Iberwala.
The man assured the student that he could get a seat in a reputed medical college under the management quota and asked him to meet him in M G Road on Thursday.
He told Balaji to get copies of his certificates and Rs 9.4 lakh as initial payment. After a quick meeting, Rajkumar collected the documents and cash and told Balaji to meet him in the college the next day.
After waiting for hours at the college the next day, Balaji realised he had been duped. The Cubbon Park police have taken up a case.

we can call that student as Burude or no burude. little common sense he would have used while paying the huge amount in cash. maybe he has enough black money and he does not care for cash. so not bothered to pay in cash to unknown personb
That student not fit for medical field. He can be fooled easily
Hon. Education minister, do something. Cant tolerate the issue
I know one student. He is doing same. But seat is sure. He do book the minority seat then they keep for selling the seat unofficially and will demand huge amount from students.
Its common now. Even students also doing the seat business after getting admission. They are making pocket money
