Mysuru, Sept 3: The coalition government partners of Karnataka – Congress and JD(S) – are likely to join hands in two of the three city corporations that went into polls recently.
Elections were held to the city corporations of Shivamogga, Msyuru and Tumakuru on August 31. While BJP registered a thumping victory in Shivamogga CC by winning 20 out of 35 seats, it emerged single largest party in Mysuru and Tumakuru. However it lacked clear majority in these two CCs.
The Congress, JD(S) and BSP together have clear numbers to wrest the Mysuru City Corporation. In the 65 member council, Congress has won 19, JD(S) 17, and BSP has won one seat. The BJP has won 22 and independents have won five seats.
In Tumakuru City Corporation that has a total 35 seats, Congress and JD(S) have secured 10 seats each while BJP has won 12 and three independents have won. With an already announced post-poll tie up, these two corporations is likely to go to the coalition.

We may get the opportunity to watch BJP leaders' emotional outbirst if cong-jds opting alliance
I dont think so BJP alone can take majority upon JDS and cong
Congress has option. Either they can look forward if they win alone. Otherwise with JDS. Loss for BJP only
