Bengaluru, May 24: Despite the severe setback to coalition partners Congress and Janata Das (S) in the just concluded Lok Sabha elections, the one-year-old coalition government would continue unhindered and complete its full five year term, Coordination Committee Chairman Siddaramaiah today said.
His comments comes in the wake of both the parties faring badly in the just concluded general election winning just one seat each. While Congress had contested in 21 seats, JD(S) under the coalition formula had contested in seven seats.
BJP had swept the polls under strong Modi current bagging 25 seats while Independent candidate supported by BJP Sumalatha won from Mandya.
