Bengaluru, Jan 31: Amidst the reports about the growing rift between the Coalition partners, JD(S) and the Congress, former Chief minister Siddaramaiah, met AICC president Rahul Gandhi, and reportedly petitioned that the JD(S) is not showing the spirit of ‘coalition dharma’.

According to reliable party sources, Siddaramaiah, who had rushed to New Delhi on Wednesday following an urgent meeting with the AICC supremo, Rahul Gandhi, had reportedly made series of charges against the coalition partner JDS(S), ever since the formation of the coalition government.

The former Chief minister, against whom, the JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda, had made made several jibes at a National Council meeting held in Bengaluru, on Wednesday, had warned the Congress high command to reign on Congress MLAs, who had made several critical remarks on the Coalition government and the Chief minister Kumarswamy

The JD(S) national president was sore against the Congress MLAs, S T Somashekhar, and the Ministers, M T B Nagaraj, who had criticised the Chief minister, alleging that all the developmental works had hit road block during the coalition government.

Not mentioning the name of Siddaramaiah, who is also chairman of the Coalition Government, Deve Gowda told the party workers that “They are unnecessarily tarnishing the work being done by Chief minister”.

However, Siddaramaiah, during his meeting with the AICC president Rahul Gandhi, had complained that chief minister H D Kumaraswamy is ignoring the Congress MLAs and refusing to give appointments to meet.

“The Congress MLAs have genuine grievances against the Chief minister and it needs to be addressed on priority basis” Siddaramaiah reportedly pleaded with the AICC president, the sources added.

However, Chief minister, Kumaraswamy, while addressing his party workers at a meeting in Bengaluru, recently, had said that he was working with pulls and pressures from the coalition partner Congress and appealed the partymen to tolerate, in the interests of facing the coming Lok Sabha elections.

“It is true that I am hurt and wanted to resign how long should I bear” Kumaraswamy, poured his feelings to the party workers at a workers rally.

However, Deputy Chief minister, Dr G parameshwara, have strongly denied that Congress is exerting pressure on the Chief minister.

“I don’t know, in what context Chief minister, had said like that”, Parameshwara said.
