Mangaluru, Sep 9: The 36th Foundation Day of Mangalore University will be celebrated on September 11 at 12.00p.m in Mangala Auditorium, Mangalagangothri.

Governor of Karnataka and Chancellor, Mangalore University Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala will inaugurate the programme. The Governor will also release Mangalore University Vision 2030 Document on the occasion.
Prof. Krishan Lal, President, the Association of Academics and Societies of Sciences in Asia, Former President, Indian National Science Academy and Former President, National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi will deliver the Foundation Day Lecture.
Prof. M.I. Savadatti, Former Vice-Chancellor, Mangalore University and Chairman, Vision Document Committee 2030 will be the Guest of Honour.
Mangalore University Former Vice-Chancellors and distinguished achievers of the varsity Sri Girish Rao ‘Jogi’ (Literature), Sri Gurukiran (Music), Mamatha Poojary and M.R. Poovamma (Sports) will be felicitated on the occasion.
This will be followed by a Yakshagana performance by Women Employees of Mangalore University, stated a release issued by the University.
