Mangaluru, Jul 23: Hajj pilgrims from Dakshina Kannada who would be proceeding on pilgrimage to Makkah and Madinah shortly were inoculated in Mangaluru on Wednesday.
Karnataka State Hajj Committee made arrangements for administering the mandatory vaccines against meningitis-brain fever and also polio drops in association with District Wakf Advisory Council at the Yenepoya Hospital here.
Vaccination of Hajj pilgrims prior to their departure to Makkah had to be done and certificate has to be issued as per requirements.

Private Secretary to the Minister for Information and Hajj Ejaz Ahmed, District Advisory Board President Haji S M Rashed, former President Usman, Mangalore Hajj Camp president Y Muhammad Kunhi, and other representatives from the State Hajj Committee oversaw the vaccination exercise.
