Bengaluru, Dec 17: An Israeli company has launched its smart irrigation technology in Karnataka’s Belagavi recently.

NetBeat is an irrigation and fertigation management system that integrates monitoring, analysis and automation into a single mobile platform, enabling farmers to maximise productivity anytime, anywhere, Randhir Chauhan, managing director of Netafim India, told presspersons.
According to Lior Doron, Director, Head of Digital Farming product management, said it was the world’s most advanced digital irrigation and fertigation management system.
Izhar Gilad, Head of Commercial & Business Development, Digital Farming, said the company Netafim, had led the world’s first revolution in precision agriculture more than 50 years ago with pioneering drip irrigation.
It provides farmers with real-time recommendations based on data pertaining to plant, soil and weather conditions obtained from both the field and external sources. It can be operated by a smartphone.
