Jamiyyatul Falah felicitates Mangalore Mayor

Mangalore, Mar 29: Jamiyyatul Falah Mangalore Corporation unit organized a felicitation programme for new mayor of Mangalore City Mahabal Marla and Chairman, District Wakf Committee  Haji S M Rasheed on March 28, 2014 at 8.00 pm at JF Community Hall, Kankanady, Mangalore.

Addressing the gathering, Mayor Mahabal Marla said that people from all communities and religions had supported him in politics and his social service and that he would strive to preserve communal harmony and brotherhood in the region.

Addressing the gathering, Wakf Chairman S. M Rasheed  seeks the support to develop the wakf properties  in a efficient manner.

Dr C P Habiburrahman, Chairman, Unity health Complex felicitated the Mr.Mahabal Marla  and Haji S. M Rasheed, in his congratulatory address said, "The leaders should work for the welfare of common man. Representatives should not leave the common man in the lurch.  he should give up own interests for the sake of people."

Saduddin M Salihi, President, Jamiyyatul Falah, was presided over the function and  he enlighten the plan and projects of jamiyyatul falah  to empower the weaker section of the society on occasion.

Imtiaz Katheeb, President JF Mangalore Corporation Unit, welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guests, and Haneef Secretary, JF Mangalore Corporation Unit, delivered the vote of thanks and compered the programme.

Mangaluru, Dec 20: The Mangaluru City Police have issued a detailed traffic advisory ahead of the inaugural ceremony of Karavali Utsava, which will be held at the Karavali Utsava Ground on Saturday.

The festival will be inaugurated at 6:00 pm by Dakshina Kannada District Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao. Cultural and public programmes will be held at the venue every evening and will continue until January 2.

According to City Police Commissioner Sudheer Kumar Reddy, parking of vehicles is strictly prohibited on both sides of the road from Lalbagh to Karavali Utsava Ground. Visitors are requested to park their vehicles only at designated parking areas.

To help the public, traffic signboards and parking guidance flex boards have been installed along the routes leading to the venue. The police have urged commuters and visitors to follow these instructions to ensure smooth traffic movement.

•    Gandhinagar Government School (near Press Club) – Two-wheelers and cars
•    Ladyhill Church parking area – Two-wheelers and cars
•    Canara School Ground, Mannagudda – Two-wheelers and cars
•    Thimmappa Hotel premises – Two-wheelers and cars
•    Scout and Guide Bhavana premises (behind Karavali Utsava Grounds) – Two-wheelers
•    Urwa Market Road – Two-wheelers
•    Hat Hill Road – Two-wheelers

The police have appealed to the public to cooperate by following traffic rules and parking guidelines to avoid inconvenience during the festival.
