Chikmagalur, Oct 27: Janata Dal (Secular) has planned to launch a massive protest against what it calls the anti-people and anti-farmer policy of Karnataka's Congress government in the month of November.

œThe onion prices have come down drastically. Farmers are getting ready to stage a protest. The Horticulture Minister should convene a meeting of the sub committee and impress upon Chief Minister to solve the problem.
œThe State government has been issuing statement that 90 per cent of the promises have been fulfilled. However, development works in the State have come to a standstill. The Assembly Speaker himself has pulled up the ministers. The Congress-led government is one of the worst governments in the State, he said.
Stating that there was no difference of opinion among the leaders in the JD(S), former chief minister said that the party is strong. State-level party office-bearers list will be ready on November 5. Core committee has been constituted after consulting H D Deve Gowda.
Former chief minister said that Energy Minister D K Shivakumar has no detailed information on his department. Shivakumar has no knowledge on the amount of electricity generated in the state and the demand.
