Bengaluru, Sept 8: The Janata Dal (Secular) has decided to support the Bharat Bandh call given by the Congress party to protest the rising fuel prices and decreasing value of the Indian rupee on September 10.

“The JD(S) will support the bandh. Our party workers will stage protests at all district headquarters on Monday," JD(S) state president H Vishwanath told reporters.
Vishwanath came down heavily upon Union Ministers Ananth Kumar, D V Sadananda Gowda, Anant Kumar Hegde and MPs Nalin Kumar Kateel and Shobha Karandlaje.
"They had staged a protest against the UPA government when fuel and LPG gas prices had shot up. Now the prices have crossed all the limits. Where are they now?" he questioned.
"Where is B S Yeddyurappa, the State BJP president who is known for leading protests often? Is he hiding in Vaishampayana Lake? (a lake where Duryodhana, an importance character from Mahabharata epic, hid himself to overcome grief)" Vishwanath questioned.
