Bengaluru, Nov 6: Minister for Health and Family Welfare U T Khader exhibited humanity by taking an accident victim to hospital in his car on Wednesday evening.

The minister, who landed in the city from Mangaluru, was passing by the Yelahanka flyover when he noticed there was a traffic jam.
“When the traffic moved, I noticed that an auto-rickshaw had toppled and the driver was severely injured. We thought of taking him to Columbia Asia Hospital. However, we rushed him to K C General Hospital so as to reduce financial burden on him,” Mr Khader said.
The auto-rickshaw driver, Stalin, is said to have suffered fractures. The passengers were unhurt.
This is not the first time this health minister helped an accident victim reach hospital in time in his car. A similar incident had taken place about a couple of month ago when Mr Khader, who was on his way to an iftar party at the Palace Grounds, had lent a helping hand to a couple.
