Mangaluru, Apr 3: Well-known businessman and founder of city based Komals Group of Concerns, Vitob S Nagvekar died on Friday at his residence in Ladyhill, Mangaluru. He was 86.

He was the President of Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mangaluru in the past.
He was chief editor of Guruvani, a monthly religious magazine being published by Haldipur Guru Math and served for Vaishya Education Society as the President.
He served for long time in Dongerkery Shree Venkataramana Temple and was the President of Vaishya Education Society.
He was awarded 'Guru Seva Niratha' by Bharathi Theertha seer of Sringeri Jagadugur Mutt and 'Vaishya Ratna' by Vamanashram seer, Haldipur Mutt of Vaishya Samaj.
He is survived by two sons and three daughters. His last rites will be held on Saturday at 10 am at Bolar crematorium.
