Mangaluru, May 17: Another Hindutva activist has been arrested by the CCB police in Mangaluru in connection with the coldblooded murder of RTI activist Vinayaka Baliga.

Shailesh is the fourth person to be arrested by the police in connection with the case. Already, Vinith Poojary, Nishith Devadiga and Shivaprasad have been arrested by the police for their involvement in the case.
However, the police have so far failed to arrest prime accused Naresh Shenoy, 39, the founder of local unit of NaMo Brigade, a support group for Narendra Modi's 2014 poll campaign that is now called Yuva Brigade.
Vinayak Baliga, 51, was hacked to death near his house in Mangaluru on March 21. Baliga had taken on various authorities in Mangalore through his RTI campaigns over violations of the law. He was also involved in a campaign against alleged misappropriation of funds by Venkatramana temple authorities.
