Mangaluru, Dec 24:Payanigana Padyagalu' (poems of a traveller), the final anthology of poems written by photojournalist Ahmed Anwar, who passed away earlier this month, was released at a programme held in Town Hall, Mangaluru on Friday.

Late Ahmed Anwar's son Salman released the book by handing over the copy to Kannada writer Bhuvaneshvari Hegde. The book was published by city based Bilichukke Prakashana.
Three other books brought out by the same publication were also released on the occasion. They are:Baddoorara Saddugalu', a book of short poems by Mohammed Baddoor;Ninagagi', a novel by Shahanaz M;Sarasa-Sallapa' by A K Kukkila.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhuvaneshvari Hegde said that literature teaches man to accept the miseries of the life along with its happiness.
Singer Husain Katipalla read out late Ahmed Anwar's poemNeenarigade Manava'. Shaukath Ali, secretary of Bellichukke Prakashan, welcomed. President S M Mutthalib proposed vote of thanks.
Mohammed Kunhi of Shanti Prakashana, K M Shareef of JIH, Dr Satyanarayana Mallipattana were present among others.
