New Delhi, Feb 18: Even though Prime Minister Narendra Modi uses most modern teleprompter, bloopers have become a common feature of his public speeches.

Modi using a teleprompter to read his speeches while appearing to be speaking extempore is no more a state-secret. However, unfortunately, this time his teleprompter let him down.
It was while Prime Minister was addressing the Sri Lankan President, Maithripala Sirisena and his wife who are on a four-day tour of India.
Modi, while addressing the Sri Lankan First Lady managed to read out the acronym 'M.R.S' and called her M.R.S. Sirisena, instead of Mrs Sirisena, in a gaffe that was reminiscent of a Doordarshan anchor who lost her job for a similar misreading, as she had referred to Chinese President Xi Jinping as 'Eleven' Jinping during his visit to India.
Despite the news agencies and television channels made all possible efforts to edit the blooper, the video clippings of Mr Modi’s ‘spine-tingling’ speech went viral on social media.
