Bengaluru: Nov 25: The central division of the Bengaluru city police has registered a case against Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Muthalik and other extremists under Section 107 of the Criminal Procedure Code for threatening to take law into their hands during upcoming “Kiss of Love” event in the city.

The police decided to act as Muthalik and others had been threatening in public that they disrupt the proposed Kiss of Love' event scheduled for November 30.
The police clarified that they would not let anybody take law into their hands. The police have also served a notice on Muthalik, directing him to submit an affidavit about conducting himself in a dignified way, said the police.
Bengaluru City Police Commissioner M N Reddi said that the police had not taken any decision regarding the event. The organisers have filed an application seeking permission, while a few groups have submitted their objections to the event. The police have directed both the groups to give more details, he added.
