Mangaluru, Oct 26: An ardent fan of Prime Minister Narendra Modi tried to disrupt the speech of civil rights activist Teesta Setalvad when she criticized the ruling party’s anti-people policies on Wednesday.

The incident took place during a discourse on ‘Talking Peace In Times Of Hate’ organized by Samarasa at Bishop Jathanna Auditorium, Balmatta, Mangaluru. Ms Setalvad was the chief guest.
The fan of PM, who introduced himself as Nayak, exhibited his intolerance when Ms Setalvad hit out at BJP over privatization of Air India.
Ms Setalvad responded saying that truth is always hard to digest and that she could substantiate her claim with proof.
However, Nayak became more arrogant and asked Ms Setalvad to mind her words and not speak anything against the union government. Modi is the best prime minister and he ended corruption, he said.
