It is said that her father who is a headmaster of a school tried contacting Raima over phone. Since she did not receive the call even after several attempts, he contacted one of the neighbours named Unnikrishnan. While the neighbours knocked at the door, Raima did not open the door either. When they broke open the door, they found her dead.
Raima was emerging as a well known name after giving some splendid performances at various events. She was even marking her mark at the state level with some good events at hand.
She is the daughter of Chandran Master and Bhama couple. Since it is vacations, the family had returned from a holiday. On Thursday when her father left to the school over some work, Raima was alone at home. She hung herself to the ceiling and ended her life.
Raima was married to a forest department employee settled at Kozhikode, two years ago. The couple started having problems and hence Raima had come back to her father's house and has been staying there. This is suspected to be the reason for Raima's move to end life.
After having several albums to her credit, she had even participated in a reality show on Kairali channel.
Her brother has lodged a complaint with the Bekal police in this regard.
