Mangalore, Aug 13: Sri Ram Sene will organise its annual study meet on August 17 and 18 at Shree Subramanya Mandir, Neermarga.
Addressing a news conference on Tuesday, Sene State Vice-President Kumar Malemar said that the meet will have its national president, Pramod Mutalik, State organising secretary, Gangadara Kulakarni, Mahesh Koppa and Savitha Ranganath taking part in it. The meet will discuss over important issues like legal practices and the structure of Sene's fight.
The Sene had movd to Court against the Kannada movie named 'silk' starring Pakistani actor Veena Malik and in this connection, the High Court has banned the publishing of the posters of the said movie.
"The High Court's decision is a victory for our fight," said Malemar.
Answering a query with regard to cow slaughter and cattle theft cases, Mr Malemar said that
Police department has taken the initiatives and arrested many cattle lifters.
