Uppinangady, Sep 21: A student of Uppinangady Government First Grade College who fueled tension in the College by pulling a girl's braid in the campus has sparked yet another controversy.

Though having made a trip to jail for his first mistake in July, the said student has failed to mend his ways.

The student named Ranjith was nabbed by the police in July for pulling a girl's braid.

However, on release Ranjith has got back to his normal self and had resorted to passing vulgar message to a girl in the college.

However, this time, the brothers of the girl opted to teach Ranjith a lesson themselves and thrashed him black and blue for his behaviour.

After this thrashing Ranjith reportedly went on his knees begging for forgiveness. The brothers even pulled him to Uppinangady police station where again he promised to behave himself.

The brothers of the girl let go of him without filing a complaint.

After being released from the jail, MLA Shakunthala Shetty admitted him to Uppinangady Government First grade College so that his education is not disturbed. She had also told the young man to behave himself and mend his ways.

However, Ranjith who refused to reform himself, this time resorted to sending vulgar SMS to a girl in the campus, showing that some habits do not die so easily.
