Bengaluru, Nov 27: The ACMM Court has remanded 115 Civil Police Constable job aspirants to 7-day judicial and CCB custody on charges of 'purchasing' Question papers for Civil Police examination with answers scheduled for November 25 at various centers in Karnataka and the examination was postponed.
While 110 job aspirants were remanded to 7-day Judicial Custody, remaining five were remanded to CCB custody. The Judge Jagadish also remanded, other two arrested including kingpin Shivakumaraiah and Naveen to Seven day CCB custody.
Central Crime Branch (CCB), Assistant Commissioner of Police Venugopal, on getting clue on Nov 24 raided Kalmutt Nanjundaswamy Educuation Institute at Shanivarasanthe, Somawarpet Taluk, Kodagu in Karnataka and arrested Basavarju who had indulged in the crime. Four Mini buses and One car was seized.
