
Ibrahim, who is also district magistrate, has issued the order under Section 35 of the Karnataka Police Act, 1963, in the wake of recent violence in the district.
The officer had, on November 12, promulgated Section 144 of the CrPC till the midnight of November 15 following untoward incidents, including a murder. Thereafter, an order banning public meetings and protests was in force till November 20.
