Hailing from Kollam in Kerala, Bose George had tied the knot with Soumya, daughter of Sunny seven years ago. After marriage, he had been living along with Sunny, wife Soumya and a child from Soumya's first marriage.

It is said that recently Bose George had begun fighting with his wife in an inebriated state. Soumya had also lodged a written complaint with the police in this regard.

Bose had also been summoned by the police and warned not to indulge in such activities again. After receiving assurances from him, the case had also been closed. However, it is believed that his fights continued to occur.

Due to several agreements, his wife Soumya had begun staying at her father's place. Owing to this, it is learnt, that Bose would argue vehemently with his father-in-law.

On Sunday, when an argument sparked due to the same reason, it is believed to have gotten out of hand resulting in Sunny stabbing Bose with a knife. Sustaining severe injuries, Bose died thereafter. Nelyadi outstation police took the accused into custody.
