Rudresh was murdered by two men around 11.30 am on Kamaraj Road on October 16, 2016 when he was on his way home after an RSS march.

Police arrested Pasha, Ahmed, Sadiq and Mujeeb Ulla on October 27, 2016, and Sheriff on November 2, 2016.
