Bengaluru/Bagalkot, Dec 14: Excise Minister H Y Meti on Tuesday met Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president and Home Minister G Parameshwara and explained to him on the reported row over the controversial video.

A CD purportedly containing Meti's sexual escapades is said to be in the possession of RTI activist Rajashekhar Mulali of Ballari. It is said that some supporters of Meti have threatened Mulali with dire consequence if he makes the CD public.
Meanwhile, the woman in the controversial CD on Tuesday made a U-turn by claiming that it was indeed her in the video. She had on Sunday night claimed that the woman in the clip was not her.
Addressing a press conference in Bagalkot, she said that Subhash Mugalakhod, the constable of the district armed reserve, and three others had also forced her to give a statement against the minister and videographed it. The recording was done at a building on the bypass in Bagalkot on November 22, the woman said, adding that she still faced a death threat from the constable.
She said that she did not inform the police about the three others at that time out of fear. She said that three others with Mugalakhod were known to her and that she would reveal their names at the right time.
The woman later went to the office of M?N?Nagaraj, the district Superintendent of Police.
Nagaraj told reporters that the woman had orally told him about the threat to her life. Action would be taken against the constable if she gave a written complaint.
The woman has got herself admitted to the district government hospital for the treatment of her stomachache. Heavy police security was put in place at the hospital and journalists were not allowed inside.
